L-Acoustics L-ISA to make Australian debut with the ASO

L-Acoustic’s L-ISA ‘Hyperreal Sound’ technology will be deployed publicly for the first time in Australia this Saturday 10 November, as the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra performs the score to ‘Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban’ live with the film at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre. As of the time of writing, tickets were still available.

Adelaide’s Novatech Creative Event Technology are providing the L-Acoustics system, which will consist of seven hangs of 12 KARA, two hangs of 12  KIVA,  and 12 KIVA as in-fill, supplemented by 8 SB28 subwoofers, all powered by L-Acoustics amplified controllers and the L-ISA Processor.

With main competitor d&b audiotechnik’s Soundscape system having been demonstrated at Integrate in August, and distributor NAS running training in its design and specification starting next week, the competition for the spatial audio market in Australia and New Zealand has well and truly begun.

CX Magazine will be in attendance this Saturday, and will provide a full review in the December/January edition of the magazine, due out Monday 3 December.
