As the Warehouse Manager your primary responsibility is to oversee the efficient and safe storage and handling of hire equipment, as well as lead a team to ensure the warehouse is operating at a safe and efficient level. You will ensure customer satisfaction by resolving any issues that may arise. You will ensure that budget and operational standards are met, whilst operating in line with WHS guidelines. You will be responsible for ensuring that all products arrive to their destination on time, and avoid stock shortages.

We are seeking applicants who can demonstrate the following skills and experience:
• Proven working warehouse and stores experience
• Strong communication skills – written & verbal
• Excellent customer service skills
• High understanding of WHS standards
• Experience in a similar supervisory or management role
• Current C class licence (MR is desirable)
• Proficient computer skills in inventory software, databases and systems
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Physically fit and the ability to lift heavy objects
• Current forklift licence and experience desirable
• Enjoys working in a team environment and is positive and proactive
Areas of responsibility:
• Prepare and complete orders for delivery and pickup according to schedule.
• Check orders in and out and take payment from dry hire customers
• Load and unload delivery vehicles as required
• Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
• Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
• Manage casual warehouse staff
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation
• Complete inventory management system and report any discrepancies
• Communicate and cooperate with managers and co-workers
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, policies and regulations
• Perform stocktakes as required

Salary range $50 – 65K commensurate to experience based upon a 38 – 42hr week (seasonal variation)
