An opportunity for an experienced Technical Sales Person, has now opened in our Australian Office, covering our territories across Australia & New Zealand. This role provides the opportunity to work with our diverse clientele from; premiere dance venues, architects, stage consultants, set designers, creative & technical directors, education, TV & film, concerts, entertainment & display.

Harlequin Floor’s 40 years of experience and reputation are founded on the manufacture and supply of a range of hard-wearing and long-lasting portable and permanent sprung and vinyl floors.

Aside from supplying TV, Events and Production companies, Healthy & Safe dance are central to what we do here at Harlequin. For this reason, we are the preferred choice by dancers and performers at the world’s leading venues, from the Royal Opera House, the Bolshoi Theatre, Paris Opera Ballet, to the Australian Ballet and the Sydney Opera House.

As part of a dedicated technical sales team, you will be working to continue Harlequin’s growth across all market sectors.

This role would suit an experienced Technical Sales Professional with either a background in Performing Arts, Theatre, Production & Events (TV & Film) or a strong interest in those areas.

Working as part of a dedicated technical sales team and reporting to the Sales Director, you will;

* Having gained a clear understanding of the technical needs of existing and new clients, advise on the correct products that best suit their requirements.
proactively seek out new opportunities, both desk based or out in the field.

* Build and nurture lasting relationships across all our sectors and industries.
work effectively with your colleagues to drive sales, achieve targets and grow Harlequin’s business.

*have strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver against high expectations.

* be a self-starter, with the resources required to proactively seek out new opportunities.

* be able to present yourself, and Harlequin, in a professional way, regardless of the environment.

*have experience of using CRM’s (Salesforce) and an ability to use the data to generate sales.
