We service B2B and B2C clients with our locations in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. We offer a turn-key service for advertising and event management agencies, which allow for the client to roll out several events across multiple sites. This role reports directly to the General Manager. Working closely with the Inventory Coordinator and Technical Specialist, the Operations Manager is responsible for the day to day operations relating to order fulfillment and logistics. Responsibilities include: managing and directing staff, serving customers and maintaining efficient and effective operation of the warehouse.
The Manager should have experience managing and delegating daily and weekly priorities to a team of minimum 5 people. In addition, knowledge and experience in performance reviews and providing feedback is important. The Manager is the direct report for warehouse staff, delivery drivers and the local member of the sales team.
While only basic knowledge in the Pro Audio and AV fields in necessary, the successful candidate will have demonstrated experience managing staff and working with customers in a fast-paced environment. No heavy lifting needed, but the ideal candidate needs to be capable of physical work to help customers with loading/unloading equipment.
The Manager is responsible for handling incoming booking enquiries, and with support for the broader customer service team, quoting and closing booking leads in a prompt and friendly manner. The successful applicant will be one motivated by hitting monthly and quarterly sales targets.
The Manager is the first face-to-face contact and customer liaison at DJ Warehouse Hire. The successful applicant will need to be confident, possess strong communication skills, adaptive and social personality, and can easily create rapport with customers. DJ Warehouse Hire is looking for its Manager to lead by example with enthusiasm.

Work Hours & Location
Working from the Sydney warehouse located in Leichhardt, you will be required to work full time, including Saturdays with split weekend days off.

During the peak season of November and December extended hours are occasionally required but not frequent.
