Woohah Productions is one of Australia’s fastest growing event production companies. We are recognised leaders in LED Screen Hire and full-service Event Production. Over the past 10 years Woohah has been involved in some of Australia’s largest Sporting, Touring, e-Sports, and Gala events, and has established itself as a dynamic medium-sized supplier in the events industry.

Due to our ongoing growth, we are now searching for an experienced and innovative Production Manager to join our team in Melbourne.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will spend the majority of your time in our Cheltenham office, with our energetic and close-knit team. In this important role, you will be responsible for promoting our service range to our clients, including audio, lighting, and video elements. Working alongside our Senior Production Manager, you will be responsible for developing and providing quotes for customer enquiries, following-up proposals and gaining client approval, managing customer events within budgets and deadlines, and supervising the on-site setup for your event portfolio where necessary. You will also assist with business development opportunities through your established professional network.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for a practical production manager, preferably with experience in the sales and logistics of event A\V hire. This dynamic role will suit a responsible and creative personality, who will enjoy taking ownership of our customers’ experience and satisfaction.

This position requires someone with excellent communication and project management skills, sound technical knowledge of event audio, lighting and video equipment, and a successful track record in coordinating technical event elements.

What we’re looking for

Previous experience in Event Production or Event A\V Rental is essential.
Strong technical knowledge of professional Audio, Visual and Lighting equipment.
Excellent planning, organisational, time management & customer service skills.
Proven track record in coordinating on-site teams for the setup of events.
Solid business acumen and an understanding of project management.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in negotiating and influencing customers.
Someone comfortable managing multiple on-going projects and competing deadlines.
Experience with Current RMS or qualifications in Event Production or A\V Technology will be advantageous but not essential.
