Our wildly successful, Halloscream, is a large scale Halloween event that Luna Park Sydney takes great pride in. Just when we thought it couldn’t get better, another year tops it off! This year is no different and we need you to lead and ensure the smooth delivery of our 5 night, themed event where our park is transformed into an electric blend of interactive walk through experiences, costumed performers and a full theatrical lighting rig.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Your key responsibility will be the event planning and coordinating of resources within the event budget, whilst providing leadership and direction to both the logistical and creative team.
You will use your creative flair to provide solutions for all design and event issues; assist with photo shoots, live crosses, marketing, auditions and castings.
Closer to the event you will schedule and coordinate bump-in and bump-out, project manage all external elements of Halloscream and ensure all attractions are ready for guests on a nightly basis
It is envisaged that your background will be in Event Management or similar, within a theatrical or film setting, whereby you understand lighting, sound and set building and have experience in delivering large scale productions.
You will have proven leadership and exceptional communication skills, experience in developing and monitoring budgets as well as the devising and documenting of safe work procedures
Essential is your availability to work full time including some nights and weekends from 30 July 2018 until 18 November 2018. Specifically you will need to be fully available to work days and/or nights during the event period, 22 October to 9 November 2018. A driver’s licence is also essential for this position.
