You will be working with an experienced group of event professionals based in Port Melbourne.
We are seeking a strong administrator to support the day to day operations of the business. Someone who is solutions orientated and has resourceful mindset, and is willing to take ownership of administrative tasks with a positive, can-do attitude.
Your new role will be diverse and fast paced. Reporting to the Operations manager, you will be providing support to all areas of the Microhire business, and on a daily basis, will be assisting with tasks like rostering, communicating with our diverse range of crew, payroll administration, supplier invoicing and providing general administrative support to our Operation team.
To be successful in this role, you will have had experience in a similar role, preferably in the events industry. You will be an excellent communicator both written and verbally, and have great attention to detail and exceptional time management skills.
We are a technology company, so you will be expected to be comfortable behind a computer, especially with the Microsoft office suite. Experience with ‘Retain’ and ‘Rental Point’ or similar system; rostering and stock control software would also be advantageous.
