A/NZ BDM @$150K – IPTV, Dig Signage

One of the world’s leading providers of solutions for IPTV, Digital Signage and Room Bookings wants to ride off the back of great results across A/NZ and put in place a dedicated Business Developer. This new role will identify and approach end-users, leading and engaging the existing local partner resellers.
The company’s success and reputation as well as the local channel partners ensures this is not all cold, but rather a path of gold that someone needs to tread. Most industries have applications for the offering and obvious targets are retail, education, stadia (hospitality suites) and corporate. Show the value proposition and bring in the reseller for local credibility on delivery and on-going support. You will also be key to the development of improvements and assessment of local resellers results.
Technical aptitude is less important than your ability to and actions in:
- Identifying end-user targets – short, medium & long-term cycle opportunities
- Promoting awareness of the solution across trade events and relevant groups
- Getting you & your partners in front of decision-makers
- Maintaining excellent relations with the existing accounts, your primary referees
There is a newly appointed local Pre-Sales person to support you technically and ensure you are not distracted from the main goal of growing new and existing business at a time when the opportunity is hottest.
Excellent base salary and a healthy, uncapped incentive plan will motivate you to success and perhaps the development of a small team under your guidance in coming years. There will be much travel to present where needed and all expenses will be covered. This will be a highly visible role, setting the right person up for a career wherever they direct their activity.
