Hills in position to embrace new, leading-edge DSP and Unified Communications solutions

Hills Limited is pleased to outline new developments across its market-leading audio and audio visual technology to broaden their digital signal processing and unified communication offerings.

“The markets in both digital signal processing and unified communications are dynamic and highly competitive. An increasing number of established audio brands in our portfolio are responding to the market’s demand for smart, cost-effective, intuitive and scalable solutions across these areas.” David Lenz, COO.

Infocomm in Las Vegas saw the Hills AV team, led by Dan Fletcher, meet with key suppliers including MediaMatrix, Revolabs, Beyerdynamic, AKG and TOA. These brands all provide solutions in the DSP and unified communications space to deliver Hills customers the right solution across a broad range of applications. The Hills AV team look forward to sharing the full scope of these solutions, along with new product announcements and international product experts at Integrate in August this year.

The Hills DSP and unified communications offering will not include Biamp Systems from 20 July 2016, following a change in the relationship between the two companies. This increases Hills’ capacity to represent the best of new, cutting edge technologies across their full brand portfolio.

Hills represents the most attractive proposition for brands looking for a strong sales and technical coverage model across the ANZ market for audio, AV and video solutions. Community Loudspeakers and Cadac have been recently added to Hills’ enviable portfolio of 25+ global-leading audio visual brands and the Hills AV team continues to add additional brands to complement the likes of L-Acoustics, Williams Sound, Revolabs and Hitachi.

“Thanks to recent key appointments to our national AV team along with a strong national branch network supported by highly knowledgeable industry veterans and leaders, we’ve never been in a better position to capitalise on opportunities and deliver the needs of the commercial AV market.” Dan Fletcher, Head of Hills AV.
