Being Heard

The new ATUC-50 conference system from Audio-Technica is a simple and easy to use solution for what can often be a very complicated problem. A user-friendly design and set up along with an extensive features make the new system ideal for the corporate sector (including boardrooms and meeting rooms), government facilities, multilingual conference needs, hospitality (hotels, conventions, etc.), courts and judicial facilities, education, rental and more.

The system components include ATUC-50CU control unit, ATUC-50DU discussion units, and 43cm and 58cm gooseneck microphones, ATUC-M43H and ATUC-M58H. Together these components provide 24-bit/48 kHz uncompressed digital audio for clear and intelligible communication that significantly increases meeting efficiency and effectiveness.

Employing standard Cat5 (and above), a complete system can support up to three ATUC-50CU control units and 150 ATUC-50DU discussion units, connected in either daisy chain or ring topology. Interpretation channels are easily set-up and meetings can be recorded directly to a mass storage device. The system can be controlled from any web browser with no need for additional software installation. Configuration via web remote control is simple and quick, with settings stored as presets for easy recall.

A typical twelve station system would retail for around $12,000. Audio-Technica is distributed in Australia by Technical Audio Group, 43-53 Bridge Road, STANMORE NSW 2048. Ph. (02) 9519 0900. info@tag.com.au www.audio-technica.com.au
