Yamaha MRX7-D Introduced At InfoComm 2015

InfoComm 2015 sees the launch of the new Yamaha MRX7-D open-architecture, Dante-equipped signal processor.

With a long history of open-architecture processors dating back to the DME (Digital Mix Engine) series and the more recently released MTX fixed-architecture signal processors, the new MRX7-D joins the Commercial Installation Solutions lineup alongside VXS/VXC loudspeakers and XMV-series amplifiers.

The Yamaha MRX7-D has been designed for applications where more complex signal processing is required and for venues where more i/o channels are needed. As such, the new signal processor will be ideal for applications such as hotel ballrooms, houses of worship, schools, libraries, performing arts venues, movie theatres, convention centres and corporate conferencing facilities.

Building on MTX-series control options including DCP-series wall panels, a newly developed ProVisionaire Touch tablet app and support for AMX/Crestron, the MRX7-D can also be controlled by products from Revolabs – specialists in wireless microphone systems for conference settings and a member of the Yamaha group of companies since last year.

Pricing and availability information for the new MRX7-D is expected to be announced very soon.
