No one can really say what makes a great performer - talent and charisma, the ‘X’ factor and a lot of good luck help. But a child prodigy with a diploma or a degree does not make a professional musician with an established career. You need more than that.

That’s where The Musician's Master Class comes in. The Radiators have performed non stop for over 30 years, with 15 albums including platinum and gold. All the members of the band know about survival.

Our full time course is called The Musicians Master Class. It runs for one school year.

It's a full time programme of mentoring, ensemble performance, learning and survival classes. You’ll learn live skills:

·      how to perform with new technology
·      make an arena stage look intimate
·      performing to camera
·      recording in the studio
·      music contracts and legal’s
·      copyright, royalties and rights
·      selling your music online
·      live basics, sound, lighting & video
·      play your music in different genres
·      clinics with leading musicians

The Radiators Survival School is already built and is now training accredited technical production and management Advanced Diploma courses. It features a studio, fully equipped live performance studio, DVD editing on Mac computers, classrooms and a café and chill area for 50 people.

Your trainers are seasoned industry professionals:

  • Steve Defina (ex manager Studio 301)
  • Peter Blyton, Rob Zimola (producer / engineer)
  • Simone Parrott (theatre producer)
  • Julius Grafton, Andy Mackenzie, James Den-Ouden, Mick Quinn (technologists)
  • And of course The Radiators and their friends!

All classes are conducted in this fully accredited college by industry professionals. High standards are maintained, and students are enrolled directly with a registered training organisation – Julius Events College.

This is a unique program, created from the ground up for talented young musicians. It is a safe, fun and rewarding program conducted in the Julius Events College facility at Rydalmere (near Parramatta).

Each week you’ll learn, rehearse, attend clinics, perform at our Wednesday concert, be captured on video and gain confidence.

Best of all, you’ll be prepared for fame and fortune, for auditions and for those moments when you need courage and faith in your own talent.
