Live Sound Engineer

Studio and Live Sound - the perfect combination!

A new specialty course designed to deliver up to the minute skills in live sound and recording. Trained with ultra modern equipment at our technical campus in Rydalmere (NSW).

WHO SHOULD DO THIS COURSE?
Anyone serious about working in professional audio as a sound engineer, studio engineer, producer, or system engineer.

WHAT IS INCLUDED?
Hands on experience with live sound in our training venue. The course is a mixture of practical and theory, but the emphasis is on training you on real equipment that is modern, with real world experience. We have unlimited new equipment on loan in rotation from sponsors (see 'Sponsors' page).

WHY THIS COURSE?
We are specialists in entertainment technology with an excellent track record in training people for a career outcome. We are very well connected in the industry. We believe we have the best mix of studio and live sound training.

TYPICAL HOURS?
This course runs two nights per week: Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 6.30pm until 9.30pm. There are 3 full Saturdays spread through the year.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
Age 15 or over, average literacy and numeracy.

QUALIFICATION:
Certificate IV in Live Production, Theatre and Events. Audio speciality.CUE 40303.

Accreditation
Our courses are nationally accredited with the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) which comes under the Federal Government's Higher Education Act, ensuring you receive quality training that meets national standards.
