Advanced Vision & Camera Ops
A five day Advanced Course, which requires some Vision / Video Basics skills as a pre-requisite.
This course starts with a high-end projector workshop, where you'll discover some of the insider tips to do fast and cost effective blends, multi projector work, and proper setup. Practical work in our theatre space is mixed with theory classes on Watchout, Encore and other leading image systems.
Workshops are held with multi cameras including a CCU kit. All participants are put on various cameras, and exposed to show calls and terminology, over comms.
All participants switch a show, with vision mixers and workshop editing 'on the fly', in simulated real world environment.
Content recorded during the course is transferred onto Mac and edited with cuts, titles and effects for rendering to DVD as an actual multimedia record of your training.
UNITS: There are 2 Units of Competency in this 5 day course:
CUFCAM201A : Assist with a basic camera shoot.
CUEAUD03C: Operate VisionSystems.
TRAINER: This course is presented by Jason Hameister. Jason is a graduate of Julius Events College who has spent around four years as a professional video technician at Technical Direction Company, and freelance.
Times: 9.30am - 4.30pm, with breaks.
Class size: Maximum 8 participants.
