Jands Pty Ltd is one of Australia’s largest distributors and manufacturers of professional audio, lighting and staging products, with an impressive portfolio of quality international and local brands.
With an enviable reputation for providing innovative audio and lighting solutions to their clients, the Victorian based Sales Division is looking for a high achieving Account Manager to grow the sales of Jands branded and distributed products throughout Victoria.
This is a great opportunity for someone with extensive retail sales experience and a passion for pro audio and lighting, who is looking for a more 9am – 5pm role.
Job tasks and responsibilities
Key duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate include (but are not limited to):
maintaining the existing client dealer base;
strategic development of customer base to enable the generation of new business;
sourcing new opportunities through market intelligence;
delivering quarterly and annual sales targets;
creating value for customers by providing innovative product and installation solutions; and,
participating in the planning of sales growth and annual sales targets within the nominated area or responsibility.
Skills and experience
To be considered for this position applicants must meet the criteria listed below:
minimum 3 years proven retail sales experience and the ability to achieve sales targets;
understanding/keen interest in professional audio and lighting equipment;
exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships;
demonstrate strong administrative skills including writing business reports, quotations and other general correspondence;
prior experience/knowledge of sales/inventory management systems (Pronto preferred);
a current and valid driver’s licence; and,
an unyielding desire to deliver total customer satisfaction.
It would be an advantage to possess one or more of the following desirable selection criteria.
Previous experience in in-store merchandising and vendor refill.
Tertiary qualifications in business related fields.
Previous experience in the professional audio and/or lighting industry.
