REMINDER CALL OUT TO REGISTER YOUR INTEREST IN THE AUSTRALIAN INDUSTRY SUPPLIER PEAK BODY As previously reported, a number of likeminded companies joined together recently with the intention of forming a Peak Body for the manufacturing and distribution suppliers to the Professional Audio, Lighting, Vision and Staging industry in Australia. Vast progress has now been made, with a draft constitution written, and feedback requested from the suppliers who have already expressed their interest. Meetings are now being planned in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane for early December to ratify the constitution and take further steps to form the Peak Body. This is a reminder call out for all relevant companies to register their interest for inclusion in upcoming discussions and meetings. The aim of this Peak Body is to represent as many suppliers as possible in Australia in a number of matters, including: standards, approvals, legislation, counterfeiting, grey marketing, market development and associated activities.
