The Sydney Entertainment Centre hosts a wide variety of events including concerts, sporting events, conferences, exhibitions, award ceremonies and product launches.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and highly skilled individual to join our Operations Team. The successful applicant will demonstrate a high level of expertise in all aspects of staging, rigging and theatrical applications, with a good knowledge of the corporate market and have a minimum of five years industry experience.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Operations Supervisor is responsible for the efficient delivery of all back of house and technical operations including venue set up, bump in/out of events and liaising with clients. This position will also be required to assist with asset and venue maintenance.

The successful candidate will have experience in coordinating operations in a mid to large venue and will be responsible for the rostering and supervision of permanent and casual employees.

A sound knowledge of rigging, audio, lighting and staging, excellent communication skills and computer literacy will see you succeed in this role. CAD experience and advanced riggers certificate would be highly regarded.

The successful applicant must be able to work unsupervised, as well as in a team environment.  A strong OHS awareness is a must. This position will involve day, evening and weekend work.

Interviews are scheduled to take place early January.
