Caroline Fitzmaurice-Grafton very ill

ENTECH founder and former CX partner Caroline Fitzmaurice-Grafton is seriously ill in Sydney with an inoperable brain tumor. After selling out of Connections Publishing in 2002, Caroline left the industry and built a career as a business advisor.

She was very popular and well known across the sound, light and vision industry in her time as co-owner of this media outlet, from 1990 until 2002. Since leaving, I have often been asked how she is, and until last week I could say she was great. At Integrate in July I had several conversations about her, from her former colleagues. This was not unusual, despite the passing of time.

This is not an obituary, for she has a slender yet fighting chance of deferring this thing. Being tough as nails and with a decent streak of Chutzpah she could beat this thing down for some time. But right now she is not herself, and will shortly start radiation therapy to bash the tumor hard where it hurts the sucker. Caz will regain herself through this, and when she does it would be lovely for her (I think) to hear from those in the industry she knew well. Please send wishes by contact email or Facebook to any of our channels, I get them all.

Caz remarried last year, and it was joyful for Jess our daughter (pictured at age 12 with Caz in Marseille, Christmas 1998) who is now grown with children. Life rotates, and people evolve.

This news is to advise those who knew, know, and care, and for anyone else to focus positive thoughts and prayers towards Caz.

God bless.

I’m Julius – I spent 20 amazing  years with Caroline. I would not be be here in media without her.
